The new standard in marine safety and security, 1st Mate adds another layer of boating safety by notifying a boat’s captain or its passengers if someone has fallen overboard. 1st Mate also serves as an effective deterrent to boat-and-engine theft.
If the Captain is Overboard:
- Immediately stops the engine(s)
- Sounds and audible alarm from the hub and mobile device
- Marks the location via GPS
- Sends alerts to the hub, the app, and the wearables connected to the passengers onboard
- Sends instructions to passengers on how to return to the location where the captain went overboard (passenger needs to have 1st Mate app downloaded on their mobile device).
If the Passenger is Overboard:
- Alerts the captain and all other passengers wearing a fob
- Sounds an audible alarm from the hub and mobile device
- Marks the location via GPS
- Provides continously updated directions to the location where the passenger went overboard
